Guy Jones, LLB
Guy has 25 years of experience handling personal injury claims. He has held senior litigation positions such as Director of Litigation for the City of Toronto and Litigation Counsel for the Toronto Transit Commission. He also brings practical business experience to any mediation he conducts having been President of a multi-million dollar corporation.
Guy has conducted thousands of mediations, primarily in the personal injury field. He has a special interest in the area of statutory accident benefits having been the Senior Arbitrator at the Financial Services Commission of Ontario for a number of years.
Shari Novick, LLB
Shari is a professionally trained mediator who brings a number of special skills to the mediation table. She was a Roster Mediator with the OMMP from its inception in 1999 until September 2003, and has conducted numerous mediations and arbitrations at FSCO. She also has vast experience in dealing with employment law issues.
Shari served two terms as an adjudicator with the Office of Adjudication/Ontario Labour Relations Board. In addition to her special expertise in tort and accident benefit personal injury claims, she has experience mediating long term disability, commercial litigation and wrongful dismissal disputes.
